Horseshoe Bend is a U-shaped curve of the Colorado River near Page, Arizona that, in the morning, enjoys relative respite from the Grand Canyon crowds. Yes, it took waking up at 3:30AM to get there, but the tranquility and the magnificent view made the early rise well worthwhile.
