The Chapel of the Transfiguration is a famous landmark because of its location, with the epic Grand Teton mountain range as a backdrop. It turns out the view inside the praying area is just as nice. A small window nicely frames the Teton ridgeline - so perfect that it must have been intentional. Taking this photo was tricky because of the extreme contrast between the dark interior of the church and the glaring mid-day sun on the mountains which required wide bracketed exposures.
